Platinum Heritage Collection 2012

These Lianhua earrings were selected by Pure Jewels as the lead design for their 2011 Platinum Heritage Collection.

“The magnificent lotus unfolds one petal at a time, reaching full bloom in the morning sun”. A symbol of divine beauty and purity, the pink lotus is traditionally reserved for the highest deity. Its coveted status made it a perfect subject for these fabulous earrings by Sarah Ho, exemplifying her signature style."

The inspiration behind these earrings takes the 3 signature elements of the lotus, origami and the philosophy of ‘having fun with fine jewellery’. Three fine platinum origami petals, set with diamonds, curve gently to form 3 lotus petals, set at different levels, articulated to gently move, versatile in the 3 ways they can be worn. Delicately coloured pink sapphires add a splash of colour, raised slightly to represent water droplets, adding an elegant touch. A beautiful pink pearl at the centre of each earring is the focal point that links each element.

The Platinum Heritage Collection is a special collection of five distinctive jewels crafted in platinum, diamonds and coloured gemstones, to commemorate the Pure Jewels heritage.
